Rolls-Royce Dawn special edition is all about being fashionable image

While Rolls-Royce enjoys the status of a “mass-market” automaker, it’s actually pretty easy to see the ultra-luxury British automaker as an exotic manufacturer thanks to a huge influx of special editions.

We’re actually starting to feel like the word Rolls-Royce should be synonymous to bespoke – and we’re pretty sure the carmaker’s managers are very happy about it. So, without further ado here is the latest special edition Rolls-Royce, which has to do with the Dawn convertible. This time around the inspiration comes from Haute Couture as the open top can only be specified with an Andalucian White body paint. This limited version is then made unique by using the Mugello Red, Cobalto Blue or Mandarin finish for the fabric roof, while the hand-painted coachline is color-coordinated with the soft top’s hue.

Of course, once inside you’re also going to feel the exotic vibe – the cabin comes wrapped in an Arctic White and Black theme with seamless stitching for the leather upholstery and silk applied onto the front and rear door pockets. In addition, all silk surfaces get treated to an abstract representation of the Spirit of Ecstasy, with each emblem set at exactly 55 degrees – that’s to complement the lines of the door and provide a cohesive appearance. In addition, depending on the roof’s color there are also accents in Mugello Red, Cobalto Blue or Mandarin. Called the Dawn Inspired by Fashion, the model also gets a Piano White dashboard with aluminum particles and a bespoke clock specifically designed to mimic a piece of jewelry with a silver on silver effect because metallic fabrics are all the rage this year among designers.
