You might just want to become an offender just to catch a ride in this luxurious Police cruiser – though it might just be for those sporting a serious bank account from the get go.
Police in Sussex, U.K., has clearly its own agenda when it comes to fulfil the needs of police departments – and we’re wondering if the Ghost really is the correct amount of performance and utility. They actually did it for the folks – taking part of the popular Chichester Police Station’s Open Day this past weekend, the Sussex PD enlisted the help of Rolls-Royce to wrap the company’s brand new Ghost Black Badge in the country’s well known livery. The package is actually complete – decals, roof lights, and even a police radio.
The exterior has kept its factory finish – Andalusion White with a black and tan contrast leather on the interior, complete with Black Badge Technical Fiber inserts – not a bad place to be if you’re even a petty criminal. Rolls-Royce actually donated the Ghost police car and during the event collected donations for the Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospital in Sussex, and one of the company’s charities of choice. The only thing is RR took the Ghost back afterwards, barren of the lights and decals. “We were delighted to support Sussex Police at the Open Day,” said Andrew Ball, Global Corporate Communications Manager for Rolls-Royce. “As a proud member of the local community, Rolls-Royce recognizes the importance of the emergency services, including the Police.”
