Rolls-Royce introduces the Suhail Collection image

The British ultra-luxury automaker, currently a subsidiary of the largest premium automaker in the world, BMW, has just officially introduced the all-new Suhail Collection.

Inspired by a star constellation that is also allegedly responsible for being the primary source of inspiration for he 10th Century Arabic mathematician, astronomer and physicist Ibn al-Haitham, the new collection features the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith models. It’s also complementing this year’s range of bespoke models that also featured the Year of the Horse, Pinnacle Travel, Waterspeed, Metropolitan and Maharajah collections.

“Ibn al-Haitham was a notable pioneer whose scientific achievements represented a turning point in the history of science. We felt the Suhail constellation was the perfect inspiration for a very special Bespoke collection to celebrate his influence on Eastern and Western science,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

From the outside you’ll notice the new collection from the unique Moonstone Pearl coating that also uses a Turchese Blue coachline and a Suhail star emblem on the front fender. The changes to the interior encompass Creme Light leather seats and Turchese Blue accents while there are other notable accents such as Ash Burr trim, a bespoke clock and Suhail star emblems. The Phantom and Wraith models also feature their own Starlight Headliner, which allows the passengers their personal and intimate way of stargazing.
