The British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Phantom Coupe Aviator Limited Edition, during the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Besides the one-off Rolls-Royce Ghost, the car manufacturer has also brought a very special Phantom, which was named the Coupe Aviator and it will be offered as a limited edition, to this year’s edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. According to the automaker, the Rolls-Royce Coupe Aviator Limited Edition is coming with an Aviator Grey paintjob, along with a matte engine hood.
“Our founding forefather Charles Stewart Rolls was a pioneer who pushed the boundaries of motoring and aviation to the limit. With our exclusive Phantom Coupé Aviator Collection we celebrate this great British hero, presenting a car which hints at experiments in early flight married to the best engineering, modern design and exquisitely crafted materials” said Torsten Muller-Otvos, the Rolls-Royce CEO.
Changes are being carried out throughout the interior which is now getting a Thommen aviation grade clock with blood orange needle tips, matt black dials for power reserve for the speedometer and fuel gauges, anodized aluminum for the transmission tunnel, leather carpets and some other interesting goodies which are contributing to the luxury offered by the model.
