The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection has been recently announced by the luxury car manufacturer, as the model in question should hit the market over the following months.
Rolls-Royce has recently announced its plans to introduce the Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection. The model in question is a limited edition of the obvious model which has been designed to celebrate Sir Malcolm Campbell’s water speed record in 1937. The luxury vehicle has received the Maggiore Blue and Brushed Steel exterior finish, along with the hand-crafted wood inlays and some other items.
“I am delighted that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has chosen our grandfather’s iconic Bluebird Waterspeed boats as inspiration for this special Collection. I am certain Sir Malcolm would be extremely flattered to see his name still closely associated with such a prestigious brand 75 years after his last world Waterspeed Record”, said Donald Wales, Campbell’s grandson.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Bespoke Waterspeed Collection will be produced in just 35 units and the model should become available for order over the following months. Sadly Rolls-Royce didn’t release any extra details on the model in question and these should be made official probably during its official unveil. Meanwhile you can check out the teaser image posted above.
