Rolls-Royce premieres Phantom Nautica, with classic marine cues image

The British ultra luxury automaker has little to show us because of a smallish model line and long life cycles – but they compensate with one-off bespoke models that depict traditional craftsmanship.

Not long ago the carmaker delivered the red one-off Phantom Coupe Al-Adiyat special edition that took cues from the world of horse breeding, being named after the noise “made by a powerful horse when its hooves strike stone, ” and featuring a bright red paint job and numerous custom changes to the interior. This time around the bespoke Phantom comes with cues that evoke traditional yachting, with the Phantom Nautica coming to life with a two-tone exterior paint scheme – a combination between an Orchid White hue and an Arabian Blue finish for the upper side of the model. The coachline also has an anchor motif.

The marine features are carried inside the ultra luxurious cabin where the customer will have Tudor Oak veneer, Boxwood inlays and the passenger panel is embroided once more with the anchor motif inlayed in the marquetry. The seating is wrapped in Forest Fall leather with Navy Blue stitching and Tudor Oak door capping. The bespoke model also features a specifically designed compass that is hid in a drawer on the central dashboard. No words on the powertrain but we see no reason to expect any modifications there, where the 6.75 liter V12 engine sits proudly mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
