It may be red and it may be flashy but it still remains a Rolls-Royce.
Luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce is trying to keep the interest up for its two main models, the Ghost and the Phantom with numerous versions based on the two and even more special editions. The newest one to join the lineup has been called the St. James Edition and, as you probably already figured it out, it has been based on the Wraith. The model in question has a flashy red finish for its exterior design which is more suitable for an exotic ride than a luxury cruiser but we bet that there are a lot of amateurs who are digging it, for them or their mistresses, but that’s a different story.
The brand new Rolls-Royce St. James Edition has also received the 5-spoke alloy wheels, with a two-tone finish. Contributing to its unique design is also the aluminum radiator grille, along with the chrome door handles and window surrounds. The most important part of the car is found under its hood where the obvious 6.6 liter V12 twin turbo engine is resting. This is found on all Wraith vehicles and it is capable of producing a total output of 632 HP (465 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,500 rpm and 5,500 rpm. No pricing details have been announced so far and we don’t even know how many units the company will put together so chances are we will hear about it again.
