The British based luxury automaker Rolls-Royce is planning to develop an ultra SUV, along with an elite model which will sit above the Phantom Drophead Coupe.
The Bentley EXP 9 F Concept revealed earlier this year in a world premiere during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show has definitely played a main role within Rolls-Royce and seeing that the SUV developed by the competition has been well received by the audience and that it will also hit the production line over the following years, the British based luxury automaker is planning to develop and SUV of its own, which, theoretically, should be a competitor for the production version of the Bentley SUV.
The recently appointed board member for Rolls-Royce (MINI too), Harald Kreuger, has announced that the British brand is currently exploring a family of models beyond the Ghost and the Phantom series, but the discussion is at a very early stage. Rolls-Royce is also planning to develop a model which will be substantially more expensive than the current Phantom Drophead Coupe, which can now be bought from approximately 450,000 USD. Additional details on the company’s plans are limited for the moment but we will keep you updated.
