Rolls-Royce’s newest and one of the most impressive models up to date, the Wraith, has a 7-month waiting list in some markets, like China and the United States of America.
The brand new Rolls-Royce Wraith has succeeded the company’s expectations in sales as the waiting list for its first ever coupe will stretch all the way up to May in some markets. The exclusivity of the brand means that production will not be increased and in a simple and plain way, future customers of the Wraith will simply have to wait for their new rides and Rolls-Royce is just trying to avoid a situation where production is higher than demand.
The new Rolls-Royce Wraith has been officially presented to the public, for the first time, back in March 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is powered by a 6.6 liter V12 engine, which is producing a total output of 624 HP and 800 Nm of torque, sent to the wheels through an 8-speed transmission, signed by ZF. This configuration is allowing the Wraith the sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.4 seconds. Prices for the model have been set at 300,000 USD.
