Ford Motor Company has recently announced the starting price for the all-new B-MAX in Romania, where the model will be available from 13,400 euros, VAT included.
After the Ford B-MAX has made its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new MPV is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the company announcing its official starting price in Romania, where the model will be available from 13,400 euros, VAT included. As you probably know by now, the Ford B-MAX will be assembled at the Craiova, Romania, plant and it will enter the sub-compact MPV segment.
One of the most important features of the new Ford B-MAX, and highly publicized, is the missing B-pillar, which is offering a wider access to the rear seats, but with the pillar being required for car safety, Ford’s engineers had to integrate it into the rear sliding doors.
The all-new 1.0 liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine will be adopted by the Ford B-MAX, with its 99 HP or 118 HP, along with a 1.4 liter Duratec unit, which is developing a total output of 89 horsepower, and a 1.6 liter Duratec, generating 104 horsepower. On the diesel side, we can find the 1.5 liter engine, which is coming with 74 horsepower, and the 1.6 liter unit with its 94 horsepower.
