The new generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe was recently launched in Romania where the model can be bought from 39, 587 euros, VAT included.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has already made its public debut earlier this year and the SUV was also launched in several markets worldwide, but the South Korean based automaker has recently brought it to Romania, where the model has a starting price set at 39,587 euros, VAT included. The new Santa Fe is getting the 2.2 liter CRDi diesel engine under its hood, which is producing 197 HP at 3,800 rpm and 421 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm.
Hyundai says that when equipped with this engine, the new Santa Fe is burning an average of 6.1 liters of fuel every 100 km and the SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds. The model is running in two-wheel drive permanently until the system is detecting a grip loss on the front axle. When this will happen, power will be sent to the rear wheels too, but no more than 50 percent of it. Besides the 2.2L CRDi, Hyundai will also offer the 2.0D on the Santa Fe, with its 150 HP and 383 Nm of torque later on.
