Famous Romanian tennis player Simona Halep has received a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe as a present from the German based automaker.
WTA’s number 3, Simona Halep, has just received a brand new ride as a present from the German based company. The athlete has gained possession of her new sports car at a showroom near Bucharest, Romania. Her impressive performance has been noticed by Porsche and since it is known that the company is sponsoring feminine tennis, Simona has been awarded with a brand new 911 Carrera 4 Coupe, finished in red.
This is a present worth over 100,000 euros and her action hasn’t gone by unseen. The 23-year old tennis player has had a remarkable ascension rise as back in 2012, she had been on in top 50, in August 23 she climbed onto the 20th position and at the beginning of this year, she found herself in top 10 only to go up to the second place recently.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe has a 3.4 liter six-cylinder boxer engine under its hood, which is capable of producing 350 HP (257 kW) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque available at 7,400 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.9 seconds and top speed stands at 285 km/h (177 mph).
