Ryan Dunn star died in a fatal crash

Ryan Dunn was more than twice over the legal drink drive limit when he was killed in a car crash on Monday.

Dunn, 34, and a pal were killed in the early hours of Monday morning when his Porsche spun out of control, crashed into trees in West Goshen Township, Penn., and burst into flames.

Hours before the accident, Dunn had posted a photo on Twitter showing him drinking with friends.
Best friend and fellow Jackass star Bam Margera attended the service with wife Melissa Rothstein. Actors Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney were on hand. And Johnny Knoxville was among the speakers who remembered Dunn.

Accident-reconstruction teams have estimated Dunn’s 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was traveling between 132 and 140 mph in a 55 mph zone when it collided with a guardrail around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

The Porsche then went soaring through about 40 yards of trees before hitting one and bursting into flames. Dunn’s blood-alcohol level was twice the legal limit for Pennsylvania drivers.

“The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn’s vehicle was traveling between 132-140 mph at the time of the collision,” West Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll said in a statement.

Also killed was his friend Zachary Hartwell, a 30-year old military veteran and friend of Dunn’s.
