Saab sharing technology for Mini image

Recent news has engaged the car buyers to dig out the facts about what Saab CEO Victor Muller has said. Well, in general, Victor has confirmed that his company is looking forward and is in talks with the other manufacturers. The talks are all about sharing the technology for a new small car platform.

Muller said to Bloomberg news agency, “the platform would be used to underpin a spiritual successor to the Saab 92 model that has already launched 60-years ago”. However no more details have been recorded yet. Well, Muller has also declined to comment on the matter that with which manufacturers he is actually having his negotiations. Still, he managed to wind-up in short by saying “the new 29 would have the tear drop shape of the original”.

In precise, Muller has also added – “Discussions are already ongoing with the other manufacturers. That will be on my plate for the next 100 days”.

Earlier this year, Muller has also revealed that the new 92 would be a super-cool new supermini. In fact, he also said that this model had been inspired by the relationship between what the latest Mini has possessed and the Issigonis original. He has also said that he actually works with the Saab designers daily. All of these the efforts doing by him is for his new 92 project. Accordingly, he carries the most recent interpretations when he travels on business.

As everything is on assumptions and his statements, car buyers may wait for this project to bring some fruitful gains for them until 2013. Yes!
