Sbarro coming with three quirky concepts on the Geneva show floor image

Among the wide range of interesting exotics you may also find time to visit the Sbarro booth – where the Mojave, the Arcad, and the Pendo-Tracto will shine as very quirky concepts.

French design studio Sbarro is well known for delivering eccentric designs, mostly when the time comes for a new Geneva Motor Show edition to take place. Under the keen guidance of the master craftsman and designer Franco Sbarro, students have delivered not one but three concepts that will make you look twice at them. The featured project for the year is the Mojave – like the desert – and comes as a possible rework of the open-top track car, complete with fuchsia exterior with silver accents and an open-wheel layout similar to Formula One Cars. There’s a 4.0-liter V8 packing 294 horsepower (219 kilowatts) and a five-speed manual sending them to the rear wheels.

The second project has been dubbed the Arcad, and is seemingly inspired by the idea behind the Ariel Nomad, as a true off-roader with no doors or even a windshield. It does come with some bodywork – since this is a design studio – and a 4.6-liter V8 with around 270 horsepower (201 kilowatts). The last – but certainly the most catchy design, if you like quirkiness – is the Pendo-Tracto. Seems like a trike concept – and comes with a meager 650 cc engine complete with 75 horsepower (55 kilowatts) sent to the lonely front wheel.
