Schumacher’s 2000 F1 car to be auctioned image

RM Auctions has recently announced that the Formula 1 car on which Michael Schumacher raced and won the Formula 1 World Champion and 2000 will be auctioned in Monaco next month.

According to RM Auctions, the most interesting vehicle to be auctioned in May in Monaco is the F1 car which won the 2000 Formula 1 World Championship with Michael Schumacher behind the wheel. The F1-2000 model has the 204 number on its chassis and it’s only one of the eight Formula 1 cars made by Ferrari for that season. The Formula 1 car has been bought by a private collector in 2006 and it was completely restored in 2008 at the Ferrari’s Maranello factory for 150, 000 euros, being now functional.

Besides the Ferrari Formula 1 car on which Michael Schumacher won the World Championship in 2000, the RM Auction will also sell a Ferrari 625 TRC, a race car made in 1957, which is powered by a 320 horsepower V12 engine, being one of the two models ever made by Ferrari. A rare Ferrari 206 S Dino Spyder along with a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso Berlinetta will also be auctioned next month. The RM Auction will take place in Monaco, at the Grimaldi Forum, on the 11th and 12th of May.
