Formula One legend Michael Schumacher spent his fourth night in hospital. He is still in a critical but stable condition, still unconscious, Sabine Kehm told reporters outside the hospital in Grenoble, France.
”Michael’s condition has been carefully supervised all the night and has remained stable also this morning,” said Kehm.
No news conference is expected today from the doctors, unless there are significant changes.
“Grenoble University Hospital say there are no plans to provide update from them or Schumacher’s management today.”
The 44 years old seven-time world champion retired from Ferrari in 2006, but after 4 years he returned with Mercedes. However, after 3 years with the German team, Schumacher retired completely from the sport at the end of last year.
According to a source close to the investigation, Schumacher’s helmet was smashed in two by the impact. However, his manager Sabine Kehm told reporters he was not skiing at high speed.
We will bring you further information on his condition when it is made available.
