Scion has released more official images with its latest creation, the 2013 FR-S, ahead of its official launch in June.
According to the car manufacturer, the Scion FR-S will have a starting price of 24,200 euros and the model is coming nicely equipped, with features like the USB connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, eight-speaker audio system, programmable shift indicator, three-gauge instrument cluster, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heavily-bolstered sport seats and FR-S badging on the floor mats, but as an option, the sports car can also be equipped with a BeSpoke infotainment system. The Scion FR-S is coming with an aggressive front fascia, a dual exhaust system and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Scion FR-S is taking its power from the 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer engine which is developing a total output of 200 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 151 lb-ft or 205 Nm. The unit can be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic gearbox with Dynamic Rev Management technology. All this power is being sent to the rear wheels through a Torsen limited-slip differential. More details on the 2013 Scion FR-S will be announced close to its launch in June.
