Scion FR-S 10 Series announced for the U.S. image

Scion has recently announced its plans to introduce the FR-S 10 Series in the United States, where the package will add some interesting items.

According to the car manufacturer, the new Scion FR-S 10 Series package has been created in order to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary. A sports car equipped with this package will set you back for 2,170 USD over the normal manual model, without delivery fees, and it will add the dual zone automatic climate control, HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, dashboard electroluminescent panel, frameless rearview mirror, illuminated shift knob on the automatic versions, glowing front and rear badges and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Scion FR-S 10 Series isn’t getting any performance upgrades so the model is still powered by the same Subaru sourced Boxer 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, equipped with Toyota’s D-4S direct injection system. The total output remains at 200 HP and peak torque stands at 151 lb-ft (205 Nm), available at 6,600 rpm. The standard version of the Scion FR-S is equipped with a manual transmission but a six-speed automatic is available as an option.
