The brand new Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003S and SCG 003C have been unveiled recently by the car manufacturer.
The brand new SCG 003S (Stradale) and the SCG 003C (Competizione) have been officially unveiled by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus. These two have been developed by the same team giving us the Enzo based P4 / 5 and the 430 Scuderia based P4 / 5 Competizione and this is actually the third model, which is why it was called 003. In its road going version, the S for Stradale has been added while the track only toy has been called the 003C, coming from Competizione. The two vehicles are sharing their carbon fiber chassis with power coming from a V6 twin turbo engine in the Stradale, which is currently in development.
The race car will be packing in a two turbo 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is an uprated version made by Honda, capable of producing a total output of 530 HP (390 kW) at 6,800 rpm and a peak torque of 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,500 rpm. The unit is connected to a sequential transmission and the 1,350 kg Competizione is riding on 18-inch wheels. Some of the features found on it include the pushrod operated front and rear anti roll bars, the KW adjustable dampers, the double wishbone front and rear suspension and several other goodies. The deliveries of the SCG 003S will begin at the end of the year and the SCG 003C will be heading towards the Nurburgring 24 Hours.
