The German aftermarket specialists at JE Design have presented an upgrade package for the new Seat Ibiza.
The new Seat Ibiza is once again highlighted, this time by the guys at JE Design, who have revealed an upgrade package for the small Spanish hatchback. According to the German tuner, the Seat Ibiza is coming with a new aerodynamic body kit which gives the vehicle an aggressive look. The body kit includes a carbon-fiber rear apron attachment, headlamp covers, side skirts, a centrally positioned tailpipe and a roof edge spoiler for the three- and five-door versions of the model.
The Seat Ibiza by JE Design is also getting a lowering suspension kit and a fresh set of 17- or 18-inch shadow silver or matt black alloy wheels. The engine lineup has received some attention too and the 1.2 liter TSI unit is now delivering a total output of 138 HP and 230 Nm of torque (170 lb-ft) from the standard 103 HP and 175 Nm of torque (129 lb-ft). The 1.6 liter TDI is also getting a power increase from 103 HP and 250 Nm of torque to 123 HP and 295 Nm of torque (218 lb-ft). The performance upgrades for the 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI are under development. No price has been announced for JE Design’s upgrade package for the Seat Ibiza.
