The Seat Ibiza Cupra Concept will make its European debut at the 2012 Worthersee, helping the brand take a step forward in what seems to be a future production version of the Ibiza.
For Beijing, the Seat Ibiza Cupra Concept was being painted in Crono yellow and the color is expected to be the same for the 2012 Worhtersee. The Seat Ibiza Cupra Concept is coming with an aggressive design thanks to its body kit, rear diffuser and the fresh set of alloy wheels. The hot hatch’s cabin has also been upgraded and it’s now coming with sports seats in two tones, unique instrumentation, a flat-bottom steering wheel, gloss black trim and a five-inch display for the infotainment system.
Under the hood, the Seat Ibiza Cupra Concept is coming with a 1.4 liter turbocharged TSI engine, which is developing a total output of 178 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 250 Nm. The unit is being mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission which is sending its power to the front-wheel drive system. Seat didn’t announce the model’s performance details just yet or its intention to put it into production. The Seat Ibiza Cupra Concept has made its world debut in April 2012, during the Beijing Motor Show.
