Seat launches Ateca SUV configurator, we can see initial powertrain options image

The Spanish automaker has decided to offer home buyers the option to select and personalize their own version of the all new Ateca, the brand’s first ever sport utility vehicle.

Being a configuration page for the website, the detail roster is not really all that rich, but we can tell you the home pricing details – the base Ateca will start from 19.690 euros, and for starters there will be two trim levels: Style and XCellence. Go for the base option, Style and you’ll miss on features such as LED headlights, large wheels or the seat from the Leon X-Perience. For the money the owner will also get the smallish turbocharged 1.0 TSI engine packing a mere 115 hp and using a front wheel drive traction setup. The same trim level can be applied to a more usable 1.6 TDI with 115 horsepower but way better torque figure.

Moving up the ladder will mean selecting the XCellence trim level, starting from 24.550 euros. But for the money you’ll be upgrading to the 1.4 ecoTSI which has 150 horsepower – though if you want the 4×4 experience as well you’ll need to shell out 27.170 euros. You can also have a 7-speed DSG automatic, the 2.0TDI with 150 or 190 hp and the top configuration – Ateca 2.0 TDI 190 4Drive DSG-7 will set back prospective buyers at least 33.790 euros. Among the optional goodies we noticed lots of safety and assistance features and a couple of nice colors: white (€200) and Samoa Orange (€550).
