Seat will be introducing the Leon Cross Sport Concept during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Spanish based automaker Seat is getting ready for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show with yet another vehicle, the Leon Cross Sport Concept. The model in question will basically be a crossover with a 3-door body style mixing the lines of the X-Perience and the Cupra.
“The SEAT Leon Cross Sport Show Car matches the Brand perfectly with its performance, dynamic Design and Crossover attitude and the urban lifestyle of our young spirited customers”, was the only thing written in the company’s press release.
At this point we can only talk about the jacked up suspension system, the plastic body cladding, the sloping roof line and the large five double-spoke rims. Rumor has it that the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine from the updated Leon Cupra might be introduced on this one-off model. The unit is capable of putting down a total of 290 HP (213 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the front axle or even to an all-wheel drive system. Sadly we have no more details on the brand new Seat Leon Cross Sport Concept at this time but full ones will be released in just a day, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the two design sketches posted below.
