The Spanish based automaker Seat has officially released the very first details with the new Leon Cupra, ahead of its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After the model has been previewed earlier this year, the Seat Leon Cupra is ending up in our news once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing the first official details on it, ahead of its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March, in the three-door version, while the estate will be unveiled the same year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The Cupra models will finally hit the market in late 2013 or even early 2014.
The new generation of the Seat Leon Cupra will be powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is expected to offer less power than the current Cupra R and its 260 HP, but because the model will be significantly lighter, it will also be faster, being able to match and overtake the performance of the outgoing model. Additional details on the new Seat Leon Cupra generation are limited for the moment and will be released at the Geneva Motor Show next year.
