The very first images with the three-door version of the Seat Leon, the SC, have recently hit the web, ahead of the model’s public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month.
After it was teased for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show just a day before writing this article, the new Seat Leon SC is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of some images which are revealing the model from just about every angle possible. The Seat Leon SC has the obvious longer doors, the new design for the side windows and a new rear window. The interior design of the model doesn’t have any significant modifications so basically you’re getting everything found on the five-door version.
The new Seat Leon SC will get the same variety of petrol and diesel engines under its hood, with the diesel ranging from 89 HP and 181 HP (135 kW), while the most powerful petrol unit will be the 1.8 liter TSI, with its 178 HP (132 kW). Transmissions available include the five-speed manual, the six-speed manual, the six-speed DSG and the seven-speed DSG. The Seat Leon SC is riding on the same MQB platform as its five-door hatchback brother. More details on the model will be announced next month, during the Swiss automotive event.
