Seat has recently announced the launch of the Leon SC in Romania, where the cheapest version of the model has been priced from 13, 890 EUR, VAT included.
The entry-level version of the Seat Leon will bring the 1.2 liter TSI engine, with its 86 HP, while at 14,647 EUR, customers will get the 1.2 liter TSI 105 HP variant. Both engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission, which is sending power to the front-wheel drive. Other engines available for the model include the 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter TDI units, the 1.4 liter TSI and the 1.8 liter TSI. Depending on the version chosen, a manual transmission, or a DSG, will become available.
The new Seat Leon SC has a trunk capacity of 380 liters and the interior space has been reduced because of the 35 mm shorter wheelbase. The model is cheaper than its competition, on the Romanian auto market, where the 140 HP 1.4 liter TSI powered FR costs 18,255 EUR, while the similar Golf will set you back for 20,241 EUR. The only model cheaper than the Seat Leon SC is the new Kia Pro_Cee’d, which costs 15,558 EUR and it’s also powered by a 1.6 liter engine, with 135 HP. The new Seat Leon SC has been officially unveiled back in March, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
