The Seat Leon Estate has been recently named the Two Car of the Year, after demolishing its competition made out of cheaper and more expensive vehicles.
The Spanish based automaker Seat has just won the Caravan Club’s 2015 Tow Car of the Year award this week, with its Leon ST Estate. The model in question has managed to beat 39 entrants from various classes which included just about everything from the Dacia Logan MCV Laureate, priced from 12,000 GBP, to the Land Rover Discovery SDV6, which is setting you back for 60,000 GBP.
The Tow Car of the Year award received by the Seat Leon ST is marking the seventh consecutive year that a car made by the Volkswagen Group has managed to “steal” the award. In order to win this, the tow cars need to endure a series of trials and they are being judged for a lot of criteria, including the ease of hook-up, how much typical holiday gear they can carry and a towing performance on the Millbrook Proving Ground. Last but not least, their value for money is being considered also.
