Seat has introduced a more rugged version of the Leon, which has been called the X-Perience, and it’s bringing a lot of interesting items to the vehicle in question.
The brand new Seat Leon X-Perience is coming with black anodized roof rails, with a more rugged appearance on its front fascia and rear end, with some additional plastic body cladding, with a 15 mm increased ride height and with 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the model has been also updated and it’s now getting the Alcantara upholstery, brown leather, the orange contrast stitching, some special badges and a total boot space of 587 liters, or 1,470 liters with the rear seats folded.
The Seat Leon X-Perience has been fitted with the fifth-gen Haldex all-wheel drive system and it is taking its power from a 1.8 liter TSI engine, rated at 180 HP (132 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque, or with a 2.0 liter TDI diesel burner, which is producing a total output of 150 HP (110 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) and 184 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. The units can get the standard 6-speed manual or the optional DSG transmission. The Seat Leon X-Perience will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
