After it was unveiled for the first time yesterday – September 3, the Spanish automaker has unveiled this video showing the entire Mii.
Based on the Up! platform, Mii shares all the components and engines with VW. The all-new 1.0-litre petrol engines with 44 and 55 kW (60 and 75 hp) combine with the low weight of 854 kilograms to guarantee light-footed agility and exemplary efficiency. The Mii Ecomotive has a CO2 figure of just 97 grams per kilometer.
The car will be available with a manual or automated manual gearbox, the latter featuring two electric motors “to help manage the smooth gear change”.
Like the Skoda, the Mii can be purchased with a City Safety Assist system, which uses lasers to detect other traffic and warn the driver of any impeding frontal impacts.
Spain, SEAT’s home market, will begin sales of Mii before the end of the year, with the rest of Europe following in Spring 2012.
