SEAT has recently presented its latest creation, the five-door version of the Mii, the Volkswagen Up! based urban vehicle.
After Volkswagen has presented the five-door version of the Up! and Skoda revealed its five-door Citigo, time came for the Spanish based automaker SEAT to show its five-door Mii. As you can see from the images posted below, there is enough room in the back for a Sunday trip with your friends, but the strength of the vehicle stands in its economy, thanks to the brake energy recovery, the start/stop system and other interesting features.
“The new Mii has enjoyed a terrific start. Customer response in Spain is outstanding and we are now bringing the entire line-up to the other European markets – complete with the three-door, five-door Ecomotive versions. With its distinctive SEAT identity, its youthful design and its high quality standards, the five-door Mii in particular is set to capture a significant share of the sub-compact segment. This makes the Mii an important factor in our corporate strategy. The Mii marks the start of the most extensive model offensive ever undertaken by SEAT”, said the company’s president, James Muir.
As a reminder, the Seat Mii is based on the Volkswagen Up! and it gets a sister in the shape of the Skoda Citigo. The Mii is powered by the same engines as the German vehicle, and the all-new 1.0 liter petrol unit, developing 60 and 75 horsepower and thanks to its low weight, 854 kg, and “smart” features, it’s able to guarantee light-footed agility and exemplary efficiency. The Mii Ecomotive is emitting just 97 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
