Seat has officially pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Leon ST 4Drive, during the 2014 Vienna Motor Show.
The brand new Seat Leon ST 4Drive has received, as its name is suggesting, an all-wheel drive system, which has a new developed multi-plate clutch. Most of the power is being sent to the front wheels but it can also redirect some of it to the rear in just a few milliseconds. The Spanish based automaker says that the new Seat Leon ST 4Drive will go on sale in April, so details like its price will be announced close to its launch.
Meanwhile we will tell you that the model in question will become available with a 1.6 liter TDI diesel engine under its hood, producing 105 HP (77 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration will take 12.0 seconds in this version and top speed will stand at 187 km/h (116 mph). The average fuel consumption will stand at 4.5L/100km (62.7 mpg UK / 52.2 mpg US) and CO2 emissions will stop at 119 g/km. There will also be a 150 HP (110 kW) 2.0 liter TDI available, with an average fuel consumption of 4.8L/100km (58.8 mpg UK / 49 mpg US) and 124 g/km CO2 emissions. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 8.7 seconds and top speed stands at 211 km/h (131 mph).
