A Croatian owner of this Ferrari F430 Spider has managed to crash his ride in Austria recently as it ended up in a pond.
An owner of this Ferrari F430 Spider has managed to “park” it in a pond recently, on Wednesday night, in Austria, as the 36-year old driver has lost control of the wheel and left the road, travelled for 70 meters on a slope and stopped it in a pond, two meters deep. Reports are indicating that the driver of the Italian supercar has left the wreck by himself and walked to a nearby house where he called police and the emergency services.
The firefighters has pulled the F430 Spider from the pond in one piece but bringing it to its original look and sound means a small fortune spend or a lucky insurance. The Ferrari F430 Spider is the predecessor of the current 458 Spider. This has the same 4.3 liter V8 engine as the F430 (Coupe) which his rated at 491 HP (366 kW) and 465 Nm (343 lb-ft) of torque, available at 5,250 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h, the model needs just over 4 seconds. The F430 has been in production between 2004 and 2009.
