SEMA: BMW M2 going to Las Vegas with M performance components image

The BMW M2 Coupe has been recently introduced and in order to celebrate the spiritual successor to the E30 M3 the Bavarian automaker has decided to outfit the new “rocket” with a plethora of M Performance parts.

The M2 was unveiled last month and sports a highly desirable design complete with a 365 bhp engine – and more importantly will hit US shores sometimes next spring. Before that onlookers will get to marvel at the little beast that comes with a highly aggressive front fascia, modified grille, front fender vents and widened wheel arches. The package is complimented by the new back bumper, diffuser and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. The M Performance accessories add a blacked out kidney grille with a glossy black surround and side mirror caps in carbon fiber to complement the rear spoiler that uses the same lightweight material. Other out of sight changes have been operated – such as using an M Performance suspension and a new sports exhaust with carbon fiber tailpipe tips and a flap system designed to highlight the M2’s “voice” even further.

Inside the cabin the M Performance catalog was put to good use by adding a different steering wheel in Alcantara and slapped with some carbon fiber for good measure. We also see the great looking composite material on the gearbox lever and center console that also goes with some luxury Alcantara trim. We can also see some stainless steel pedal covers and even more carbon fiber elements to make you feel just as home here or in a high-tech factory.
