SEMA: Mopar power used to enhance the Dodge Challenger GT AWD and Dart GLH concepts image

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas is the perfect venue for the Detroit Three to showcase their power, especially given the massive sales they have been enjoying as of late.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Dodge brand has decided to come up with some one-offs to entice its fans and potential customers: the Challenger GT AWD and Dart GLH concepts. Startign off with the former, we get to see a “year-round muscle car that lets you have your cake and eat it too”, with an exterior using the Destroyer Grey paint job with a Matte Black upper body and Header Orange accents. We also get treated to a wide body kit, a front splitter and rear spoiler. We can also see among others the Satin Black fuel filler door, the aggressive four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and those custom matte 20-inch five-spoke alloys. Inside the cabin we have Katzkin leather / suede seats and some Orange contrast stitching to mirror the exterior accents. Under the hood sits the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine mated to the Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit that can bring up to 75 bhp (56 kW) and 44 lb-ft (59 Nm) of torque to the party. AWD is on point, connected to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Next up is the Dart GLH concept, paying homage to the Omni GLH, with the prototype adorned with a Pitch Black exterior and some red accents to complement the 18-inch alloy wheels with an anodized black hue. We can also notice a Mopar body kit, a high-performance braking system and a dual exhaust system for added grunt. Inside we find some more Katzkin leather seats this time with red mesh inserts and while performance details have not been reelased this could very well preview the upcoming Dart SRT that should feature a turbo engine and a standard AWD system.
