The Japanese brand – a subsidiary of the world’s largest automaker by sales, Toyota – has recently partnered with Skybound Entertainment to deliver a unique Scion iA titled Outcast in time for the Las Vegas tuning bonanza.
The mdoel will make its official public debut on November 3 during the SEMA show, with the one-off aiming to awe and inspire fans of the brand as well as aficionados of Robert Kirkman’s comic book releases (if you don’t live in a bubble you’ll know he’s one of the creators of the Walking Dead phenomenon). The Scion iA Outcast comes with a single design for the exterior with a Five Axis Aero Kit and a custom paint job. The onlookers will also get to see 18-inch FIVE:AD S6:F aluminum rims with Toyo Proxes R1R tires. The interior has not been touched so much but does come with suede seat inserts, a suede headliner and an illuminated Outcast logo. While the exterior and interior modifications might not be anyone’s first choice, there’s not much to say negative about a 3000W Pioneer audio system with eleven speakers.
Scion has also delivered the concept car with a two minute program that is aimed at delivering the “impression the vehicle is possessed or has a mind of its own.” “This year has been a big one for Skybound. We celebrated our fifth anniversary and the release of our first feature film, AIR, with Scion at San Diego Comic Con, and we’re excited to continue the partnership with the creation of the Outcast car,” also commented Kirkman in a release.
