The South Korean automaker is looking to hit the SEMA show in Las Vegas full force, calling on tuner Rockstar Performance for their take – to complement the for sure.
The team at the Rockstar Performance Garage is delivering an automotive equivalent of an extra jolt of energy – by submitting the Hyundai Santa Fe to some nitrous medication. The Rockstar Santa Fe Concept will make its official public debut in front of the crowd gathered at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and seems to be a very off-road capable crossover makeover. “Our Rockstar Santa Fe Concept is simultaneously all-show and all-go, a non-compromising concept with tremendous capabilities and a confident demeanor to match,” commented Nick Ashby, lead developer of the Rockstar concept vehicle.
The prototype is mostly black and has gray and white camouflage patterns on the lower portions – with Rockstar’s yellow logo popping in color on the rear doors and fenders. It has a set of non-stock 17-inch bead-lock wheels with 35-inch off-road tires. There’s also a roof rack, as well as LED light bars and inside the owner gets treated to custom leather and a Kicker audio system. Rockstar made sure the Santa Fe can go rock climbing and installed new tie-rods and control arms, a set of 2.0 King coil-overs in the front and 2.5 King shocks with finned reservoirs in the rear. Six-piston calipers in front and four-piston units out back makes sure the CUV can stop safely. Aside from the nitro pack, the Rockstar Performance Garage also treated the 3.3-liter V6 to n AEM cold-air intake, Mishimoto cooling system, and Magnaflow exhaust.
