Semi-truck rear ends Lamborghini Gallardo in the U.S. image

A Lamborghini Gallardo has been rear ended by a semi-truck in the United States and needless to say that the driver of the exotic ride was pissed after the incident.

It may have left production more than a year ago but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t one hot ride anymore. We’re talking about the Lamborghini Gallardo which seems to be one of the most crashed supercars these days, right up there with one of its main competitors, the Ferrari 458 Italia. This particular example of the Italian exotic ride has been involved in a small crash recently in the United States after a semi-truck has bumped into its back. The driver of the Gallardo has been pretty pissed after the incident but the damages seem to be only at a visual level.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is a rear mid-engined, rear-wheel / all-wheel drive supercar which has been in production between 2003 and 2013 in Sant’Agata Bolognese. It has been designed by Italdesign Giugiaro and offered in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door roadster, and it was the best-selling Lamborghini model ever, with more than 14,000 units finding new owners throughout its lifetime. The exotic ride was offered with a choice of two engines, the 5.0 liter V10 and the 5.2 liter V10, connected to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual transmission. It has left production in late 2013 in order to make room for its successor, the Huracan.
