The brand new BMW X4 Concept has been recently brought to the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, by the German based automaker, in a world premiere.
Following its teasers and official images released not too long ago, the brand new BMW X4 Concept is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker pulling the wraps off its body, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The BMW X4 Concept is actually a smaller version of the X6, which is based on the same platform as the X3. The model is coming with a sloping roofline and it’s offering a first preview into a final production SUV.
The BMW X4 Concept has plastic body cladding, a sculpted hood, underbody protection on the rear bumper, a new and aggressive front fascia, larger air intakes, LED headlights and a prominent grille. The final production version of the BMW X4 Concept is expected to receive the TwinPower Turbo 2.0 liter four-cylinder, which is producing a total output of 240 BHP (179 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft), along with a larger 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder unit, with 300 BHP (224 kW) and 406 Nm of torque (300 lb-ft). Additional details on the BMW X4 Concept remain unknown for the moment.
