The Dongfeng Nissan joint venture has recently unveiled the Viwa Concept, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a premiere.

The newest creation signed by the Dongfeng Nissan joint venture in China is named the Viwa Concept and the model has been recently unveiled during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The Nissan Viwa Concept is an electric vehicle which seems to be inspired by the Chevrolet Spark, which is probably offering a preview into a final production car.

“Today at Auto Shanghai 2013, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFL-PV), the passenger vehicle business unit of Nissan’s joint venture in China, unveiled VIWA, a new electric vehicle concept, under the VENUCIA brand”, as the automaker said in its official press release.

The brand new Dongfeng Nissan Viwa Concept has been described as a vehicle able to provide efficiency, accessibility, practicality and reliability. The model is part of a new sub-brand named Venucia, which will roll off five production cars by the end of 2015. No details on what powertrain has been used on the Dongfeng Nissan Viwa Concept and the model remains a mystery for the moment.
