Lamborghini has recently pulled the wraps off a very special edition of the Aventador, named the LP 720-4 50° Anniversario, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
After it was announced for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show just a few days ago, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario is being placed into the spotlights, this time with the carmaker officially unveiling the supercar during the Chinese automotive event. According to the car manufacturer, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario has been designed in order to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary, and the model is adding some interesting features, which should make it more appealing to its future customers.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario has a two-tone exterior, with an exclusive Giallo Maggio paint contrasted by the matte black trim and gloss black wheels, and the model also has a new front spoiler, a large diffuser and a ventilated rear fascia for improved engine cooling. The cabin of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario has received the 50th anniversary logo, along with semi-aniline leather seats.
Power is being provided by the same 6.5 liter V12 engine, which is good for 720 HP (529 kW), mated to an ISR transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 2.9 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph). 100 units of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario will be produced but there’s no word on the pricing just yet.
