The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has brought the G4 Concept to the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, where the model was unveiled in a premiere.
After pulling the wraps off its body just a week ago, time has come for the Mitsubishi G4 Concept to make its public debut during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The model will become a global production car eventually but, as you can see from the images posted below, it’s basically a Mirage sedan, so don’t get too excited over it.
“The MITSUBISHI Concept G4 is a concept model for a new compact sedan which MMC plans to roll out globally. The MITSUBISHI Concept G4 uses a high-clarity brilliant-cut diamond motif in the design of the front grill, headlamps and rear combination lamps to create a frontal visage with a commanding presence and a tail end which leaves a sharp impression as it drives off into the distance”, as the automaker is saying in its press release.
The Mitsubishi G4 Concept is powered by a 1.2 liter MIVEC engine, mated to a CVT, but official figures remain unknown for the moment. The model has the Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body, which, according to the carmaker, is the lightest in its class. Additional details on the model are limited and will be probably announced close to the model’s launch.
