Nissan has unveiled the Friend-ME Concept during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a world premiere.
Following the teaser images, the Nissan Friend-ME Concept is now smiling from its booth at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The model in question has been designed by teams from the Nissan Global Design Center and from Nissan Design China in Beijing, collaborating under the supervision of the company’s senior vice president and chief creative officer, Shiro Nakamura.
“Nissan today revealed its Friend-ME concept, a four-passenger sedan designed for a generation with a very different automotive outlook. With an assertive, imposing exterior featuring boldly flowing sculpted lines, Friend-ME is a confident creature of the night, meant to be seen in bright city lights”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The Nissan Friend-ME Concept is a PureDrive Hybrid vehicle, which have been created for the urban environments. The model has low-emissions and it’s coming with a center console which is stretching from the dashboard to the rear seats. Each occupant can access a screen which is showing information about the speed, remaining fuel or navigation, so if the model makes it into production with this, I dare you to take your mother-in-laws for a spin in it. Additional details on the Nissan Friend-ME Concept remain unknown for the moment and will be announced probably over the following months.
