Smart has pulled the wraps off the SmartForJeremy production car during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, in a world premiere.
Following its debut as a concept last year, during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the SmartForJeremy is now getting ready for its future customers. According to the car manufacturer, the model has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, recently. The SmartForJeremy, in its final production version, has a smaller set of red-accented wings above the replaced taillights and the interior designed has remained white.
The SmartForJeremy has been designed as collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Cars Advanced Design Studios and Jeremy Scott, and the model has a coupe body style, with a choice of three powertrain options. The standard version will be a 55 kW Smart ForTwo Electric Drive, which will cost 34,800 euros (45,416 USD), the other version will be a gasoline-engined Brabus with 102 HP, priced at 33,333 euros (43,501 USD) and the top of the line 60 kW Brabus Electric Drive will set you back for 40,600 euros (52,985 USD). A lot of money for a Smart ForTwo which isn’t burning 1L of fuel / 100 km and it’s not even powered by a massive Lamborghini V12 naturally aspirated engine.
