Shelby 1000 is a Ford Mustang born and bred for the track image

Arriving during the ongoing SEMA event in Las Vegas at Shelby’s booth, the new 1000 kit has debuted for the ubiquitous Ford Mustang, and it’s available for any 2015 or newer model year.

And as the name clearly states, this is a major build, taking the power level to the fabulous 1,000 horsepower level. The regular 5.0-liter V8 fitted to the factory-build Mustang GT is swapped for a larger 5.2-liter V8 found inside the Shelby GT350, and with the addition of the 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger, the pony car pumps some serious muscle – courtesy of other additional features such as a new high-flow fuel system, intercooler, ECU tuning, and an upgraded manual transmission.

You’re not going to ride stealthy into the sunset with the Shelby 1000, because the tuner also arrives with a fitting body kit, consisting of all-new front fascia, hood, front fenders, rockers, quarter-panels, rear diffuser, exhaust, and widened front and rear tracks. Matching all the power is a fully adjustable coilover suspension with new Brembo brakes, stronger spindles and hubs, hardened wheel studs, and wider wheels and tires. The model is now reserved just for the track, and only 50 examples of the muscle car will be produced yearly at the Shelby facility in Las Vegas.
