The three special editions of the Mustang, the 50th Anniversary Edition Shelby GTS, the GT350 and GT500 Super Snake have been officially launched just a few days ago, as part of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Shelby, and now their manufacturer has announced their price tag. According to Shelby, the 2012 Shelby GTS 50th Anniversary Mustang starts at 19.995 USD with the standard V6 package while the Shelby GT500 Super Snake Anniversary Mustang costs 59.995 USD, the GT350 costs $59.995 and the GTS with the V8 engine will cost 24.995 USD.
Even if this might seem like a bargain, the price tags set on the two special editions don’t include the base Mustang, which might cost 30.505 USD for the GT V8 2012 model year, including a $795 destination charge, while the 2012 Mustang Shelby GT500 starts at $49.605, including the $795 destination charge. The three special editions of the Shelby 50th Anniversary Mustangs are limited to 50 units each in black and Performance White and the models have been officially presented to the public at the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
