The German based automaker BMW is planning to introduce six new diesel models in the United States.
No official word on the BMW’s diesel lineup prepared for the North American auto market for the moment but rumor has it that they will include a new 3-Series sedan diesel, which should arrive there in early 2013, being joined by a diesel powered 3-Series Touring, later that year. In 2013, we will also see a diesel BMW 5-Series in the United States, along with an X5d, which might actually be the next generation of the model in the 35d version, being expected to launch soon.
Besides the vehicles mentioned above, the German based car manufacturer is also planning to introduce a diesel version of the 7-Series in the United States. Rumor has it that the luxurious 7-Series diesel will hit the market there probably in early 2014. The 7-Series diesel will be joined by a diesel version of the X3, and the two models will go on sale there at the same time. Additional details on these models are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to their launch.
