The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently announced its plans to introduce six new models by the end of this year.
Skoda seems to live up to its name and to keep its promises taken a year ago, which were saying that the company will develop a new strategy in which six new models will be launched annually. The car manufacturer is now stepping forward and it’s announcing exactly the same number which will give birth to six new or updated models. The vehicles in question will enter the company’s lineup by the end of this year.
Two brand new models in Skoda’s lineup have already been unveiled, the Rapid and the new Octavia generation, and the first one is already available in several markets across the globe. The other one is expected to be the Octavia Combi, which should go on sale this summer, and the other three might include the Octavia RS, an updated version of the Skoda Superb and possibly a new Yeti generation or an SUV larger than this one. The new Skoda Octavia RS generation is rumored to get the same 2.0 liter turbocharged engine under its hood, which is currently used on the Golf 7 GTI.
