The first rendering image with a Skoda crossover based on the Citigo has recently made its way onto the web and it might provide us with a first look into a final production model.
The Czech based automaker Skoda has already announced its plans to introduce new models in its lineup and rumors on the carmaker working on a crossover different than the Yeti have been around for quite some time. If the original data was saying that the new Skoda crossover will be named the Bigfoot and this should be larger than the Yeti, theophiluschin.com has imagined a model based on the Citigo urban car.
The image posted above is a rendering and our source is naming it the “Jeti”, after combining the “Junior” and the “Yeti” names. The so-called Skoda Jeti is imagined on the original Citigo and it has a good chance of hitting the production line, considering the fact that it looks like a B-segment crossover and Skoda doesn’t currently have a similar model. If it will indeed make its way into production, than the Skoda Jeti will have some serious competition from the Nissan Juke, the Opel / Vauxhall Mokka, the Peugeot 2008, the Renault Captur, the Ford EcoSport and the Chevrolet Trax.
