Skoda has recently announced that the Citigo has been launched in Romania, where the cheapest version has a starting price of 7, 954 euros, VAT included.
After being launched in several markets across the Old Continent until now, along with its brothers the Seat Mii and the Volkswagen Up!, the Skoda Citigo is once again entering our news, this time with the Czech based automaker announcing its arrival in Romania. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the Skoda Citigo in the Eastern European country is the three-door, which can be bought from 7,954 euros, VAT included, while the five-door version starts at 9,446 euros.
The Skoda Citigo is being offered with a 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine, which is developing either 60 HP or 75 HP. The model can also be ordered in a Green Tec version which is helping the fuel economy by 0.3 and 0.4 liters every 100 km, also improving the CO2 emissions by 8 and 9 g/km. the 60 HP Citigo is burning an average of 4.5 liters every 100 km while the 75 HP version is burning 4.7 liters of fuel every 100 km. The Skoda Citigo was officially presented to the public earlier this year, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.
